About the Group

Research

Our group researches the design of innovative systems that improve or open new opportunities for human-computer interaction. We have made significant contributions to extend the base of knowledge for creativity support tools, notification management, and multiple display environments. Results of our work have appeared in both the local and national media. We collaborate with faculty and students from Computer Science as well as from Design, Psychology, Information Science, Education, and NCSA. Our research has been supported by the National Science Foundation, Microsoft, Google, Ricoh, Intel, and Palm. For additional information or questions, please contact Brian Bailey (bpbailey [at] illinois.edu).
